My Ideal School
I hope to study at an ideal school because our school is worse than other schools. My ideal school should have boarding facilities, a canteen providing good, cheap food, regular meetings between student representatives and teachers and more emphasis on sports and other extra-curricular activities.
Boarding facilities means students can live in the school during term time. Too many students have to take a bus or the MTR to go a long way home every day. So boarding facilities can save students a lot of money and time on the public transport. In addition, boarding facilities solve students’ lateness problem. Students won’t be late and can save some money on the public transport. So boarding facilities are important.
Another item is a canteen providing good and cheap food. If the food is cheap, we do not spend much money on the food, then it will be a good place that we can have lunch.
The next item is regular meetings between student representatives and teachers. I think the regular meetings should be held once every two weeks. Then, they will improve the teacher-student relationships. In the meetings, the students should discuss the school policies, cleanliness in school, results of students or their behaviour. So the school can know what students want and can carry out relevant policies.
The last item is more emphasis on sports and other extra-curricular activities. I think that is the most important one for every student. The ideal school may buy new and good equipment on sports to attract students to join the school teams. So the school teams can be strengthened. I think the school should have a variety of sports teams like the football team, basket ball team, handball team, track and field team, etc.
That is my ideal school. Boarding facilities, a canteen providing good, cheap food, regular meetings between student representatives and teachers and more emphasis on sports and extra-curricular activities are the necessary items. No one can be omitted.
